Goole’s Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society are relaunching this year.
The group is made up of cast members of all ages, and they are all excited to be back on the stage. Their last production was ‘Annie’ in 2019 and was a sell-out hit, entertaining a full house over six shows. This year, because of Covid restrictions that stopped the group from entertaining for a couple of years, director William Knight decided that it would be hard to put on a show. Instead, they have decided to put together a compilation of songs from the shows including Hamilton, Joseph, Singing in the Rain, Legally Blonde and Beauty and the Beast.
The show week will be during October half term, week commencing October 24. If you would like to get involved in the show, either on stage, backstage, front of house or as a musician, then come along to the annual general meeting on Monday, March 7 at 7pm at the Masonic Lodge, Goole to meet and support the group.
